Food safety and quality

People know they can trust the safety and quality of our products. That trust is important to us – so much so that providing food that is safe to eat is at the core of our values. That’s why we work so hard to make quality products that delight our consumers. We’ve put in place strong food safety and quality systems for our ingredients and our products. And we continue to make these systems better to create the great-tasting foods our consumers expect and can feel good about. 

We do this by having:

- A comprehensive food safety program that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements and ensures global consistency
- Benchmarking annually to ensure the robustness of our food safety program
- Continuously evolving our global strategies on Food Safety, with global goals to drive further progress

To guide our continuous improvement in the area of food safety, we have established a goal to achieve third-party food safety certification against the FSSC 22000 GFSI-benchmarked scheme for all our manufacturing facilities by 2015.
